Penelope Cruz Does Vogue Magazine
Penelope Cruz looks amazingly gorgeous on the cover of the December 2007 holiday issue of Vogue.
Inside Penelope Cruz talks about her love life, working life and rumor control.
Penelope on what she looks forward to everyday:
“I’ve always looked for my sanity, my sofa time, my long dinners.”
Penelope on why she doesn’t talk about being single or not:
“That’s the same as saying, This is a subject I’m prepared to talk about. And I’m not.”
Penelope on her rumored affair with Bono:
“Like when I went on holiday to Bono’s house with his wife and kids… we were holding hands because we’re very good friends, and do you know what the paparazzi did to us? They took photos and cropped out Bono’s wife and children! So they made up a story about us being together, knowing perfectly well that I was there with the whole family.”
Penelope on how you shouldn’t live your life:
“You cannot live your life looking at yourself from someone else’s point of view.”
Penelope on director Pedro Almodovar:
“I became completely obsessed with Pedro. Then he called me when I made my first movie, Jamon Jamon. I remember that day like it was yesterday. I was drying my hair in the bathroom, and somebody said, ‘Almodovar is calling.’ I couldn’t believe what I was hearing–I’d dreamed about that moment for so long… Now, he’s like family to me.”
Hot Keira Knightley Does Elle US December 2007
On the tabloids:
“What I hate is that they shove in your face: this is what you want to be. And you think, f—k that. I don’t want it. Stop telling me I want to look like her. Stop telling me I want that life. I don’t.”
On being moody:
“I’m a moody bastard. Actually, I’ve been banned from reading newspapers because the way they’re written angers me so much. If I want an opinion, I’ll read the opinion part of the newspaper. I do not want it when I’m trying to get the facts. I get incredibly angry. It really f—ks me off. See, I have to calm down about it.”
On her sex scene in upcoming movie, “Atonement”:
“There was no knob-touching, for real. But it certainly looked like that.”
On the word cute:
“I hate cute, I’ve always hated cutesy. My mom used to ban the word cute. Absolutely banned.”
On romantic comedies:
“I’m a total romantic- I love romantic films. But I don’t like being raped by sugar.”
On cell phones:
“I hate them. It rings, and then I realize that I don’t want to talk to anyone. So I always press ignore.”
On becoming aware of her sexual powers:
“Oh, my god. I don’t think I’m aware of it now! No… I’m lying. I don’t know why I said that. No, I’m not lying, actually. I’ll just have an argument with myself!”

Sarah Michelle Gellar Does Maxim Magazine
This year Sarah invades multiplexes with three flicks:
The Air I Breathe, Possession, and Southland Tales, in which she plays a pop star, a lawyer, and (God bless her) a porn star, respectively. Finally, after years of begging (on our part), she sits down with Maxim and tells us her secrets. Spoiler: She fights dirty.
Our readers have been asking us to get you on the cover for years. Why now?
Lots of things. I’m 30, and I’m promoting a bunch of different kinds of movies. I like to shake things up every once in a while. It’s good to leave people wanting more, but I don’t want to leave them waiting too long or they’ll lose interest. Besides, how could I not do a Maxim shoot when I have a movie coming out in which I play a porn star?
Exactly. In Southland Tales, you’re a porn star who is trying to get her own reality show. It’s quite a departure from Buffy.
I ran the gamut in the films I made this year. When you think about who should play a porn star, don’t I just pop into your mind? The character I play is sort of Arianna Huffington meets Jenna Jameson.>

Angie Harmon In Shape
Angie Harmon is on the cover of December’s Shape Magazine looking AMAZING! She talks about the challenges of maintaining a healthy lifestyle with her family and how she does it.
If Angie can’t find time to get to the gym she gets her exercise in other ways:
“I try to think of weekend activities that involve Jason and the kids as much as possible,” she says. That includes long bike rides, swimming, hiking, and jumping on the backyard trampoline.”
On Southern-style comfort foods she loves:
“People have a misconception of Southern food. They think we deep-fry hamburgers and then put marshmallow cream on top of them!” says the Dallas native. “But our food is about big flavor, not huge amounts of grease or fat. And when food tastes good, you don’t need giant servings to feel satisfied.”
Her family eats an all organic diet and avoids sugars at all costs:
“I even dilute the girls’ apple juice,” she says. Sure, every now and then they get a bite of birthday cake at a friend’s party. “It’s hilarious,” says Angie. “They’re like Tasmanian devils whirling around the room. You can definitely tell these girls don’t eat sugar very often!”
