The Air Show at Rand Airport


There’s is a big air show planned for this Sunday, 23 May 2010 at 10am at the Rand Airport near Germiston in Johannesburg. Their marketing has been poor this year with only street pole advertising that I just happened to see one of travelling down Swartkoppies Drive.


The Rand Airport is a hub of activity at all times and having the opportunity to visit an air show is not to be missed. Here’s what is planned for the air display:

Adults - R50.00 per person
Children under 16 years - R20.00
Children under 6 years - Free
Stand Hiring Fee (incl Vat)
Food stands with electricity - R 3 000.00
Food stands without electricity - R 2 000.00
Flea Market Stands - R 1 500.00
Display Stands (no electricity) - R 3 000.00
Marquee stands - R 3 000.00
